The president of the United Church of Christ in Nations, Reverend Amos Kiri, has called on all members of the church and other Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVCs before the general elections.
The reverend father made the call in Kaduna yesterday while delivering a speech at the end of a three-day national fasting and prayers organized by the church.
The clergy, represented by the vice president of the church, Reverend Emmanuel Nama, called on all Nigerians to conduct themselves in a peaceful manner before, during and after the elections.
The reverend also asked the Federal Government to intensify efforts to secure the release of Leah Sharibu who has been in Boko Haram captivity since last year.
