Residents said the only access road in area was also affected.
They alleged that government had abandoned the area since the flood disaster of 2012.
The council’s vice chairman, Ambrose Kelvin Akhigbe, said the council was doing all it could to relocate the victims to the federal government’s resettlement camp at Oghomere.
”We would be going to the affected communities with speed boats to evacuate people. The rooms are being tiding up to ensure that it is conducive. There is borehole, and we shall also bring a generating set to ensure regular supply of light and water so that the displaced persons can feel at home,” he said.
