The Chairman, Bemas Technologies Nigeria Ltd, Mr Kola Balogun has said that the latest innovative product of the company, UNIVASA Mobile E-Top Up, will strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria.
Balogun, who spoke through the company’s Executive Director, Mr. Lekan Anlugbua at the launching of Univasa in Lagos also said the platform provides opportunities for customers to be present in all the mobile telecommunications networks in Nigeria and abroad.
According to him, Univasa is an integrated Information and Technology (IT) service provider, with a robust platform, which specialised in e-top-up, SMS integration, voice automation and data services.
The Chief Consultant to the firm, Mr Ben Adeniyi said Univasa is a product of research and development in partnership with the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) which provided the (*578#) code and regulatory environment, telcos such as Glo, MTN, Airtel, 9mobile and Zenith Bank to provide insurance cover for transactions.
He noted that the platform does not only offer flexibility to over 400 operators in 130 countries across the world, it allows dealers and business owners to generate a unified voucher that can be used in any network.
He said the Univasa Pin can be used by all the telecommunication networks, stressing that the platform is secured with end-to-end encryption.
