The Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Joseph Garba Anebi, has inspected the NNPC depot at Pogo, Niger State to inspect the facility after a recent inferno at the depot.
Anebi said the visit was to ensure that adequate fire safety measures were put in place to curtail reoccurrence.
He enjoined the NNPC Area Manager on the need to put required fire safety measures in place at the depot.
He assured that the Federal Fire Service would continue support in ensuring the safety of depot facilities and workers all over the nation.
The NNPC Area Manager, B.K Gana who took the Controller General on a tour of the depot lauded Anebi and his team for the rapid deployment of men of the Fire Service during the inferno.
