Fidelity Bank Plc has reiterated the need to deepen financial inclusion in Nigeria even as it motivates its customers with cash rewards in the ongoing promotion.
As the train of the promo, Get Alert in Millions (GAIM) season three, moved to Lagos, the lender on Tuesday made a formal presentation of million cash reward and consolation prizes to some of the 13 customers who won N16 million in an earlier draw.
The Bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochukwu, said the bank was poised to ensure that its customers enjoy the best of banking services at their convenience, enjoining non-customer to open account with the lender.

She said: “In line with our vision of deepening financial inclusion through technology, we have launched a new platform for people to easily open accounts in addition to the QR, USSD and online account opening platforms.
She described the GAIM promo as an initiative to motivate more people to join the banked percentage of the population “since any of our customers can emerge winner during the draw.”
Also, Mr Richard Madiebo, the bank’s Divisional Head, Retail Banking, said that the bank had made banking easy through the promotion.
Madiebo called on Nigerians to take advantage of the initiative to open account with Fidelity Bank, assuring customers that they had the chance of winning N1 million, N2 million and more.
Alhaji Oluwakareem Amodu, the Bale of Dankaka, Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area of Lagos State, who won N1 million, said he activated the account with N1,000.
Similarly, a star prize winner of N2 million, Mr Rahman Yusuf, said he activated his Fidelity Bank account with zero naira, while another winner of N1million, Steven Otriase, joined other winners to appreciate for the gesture.
