The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola on Sunday inspected 215 megawatt Kaduna power plant project.
The minister was taken round the project site by the Project Manager Engineer Sunny Okwedi around 6 pm.
The project Manager while briefing the Minister on the progress made so far said the power Control Modules and other equitment were already on site and that work is ongoing without much hitches.

He added that the engineering work is 98 percent complete, Procurement 93 percent complete and construction 76 complete.
The minister said he was in Kaduna to hold a meeting with some Road controllers and decided to branch to inspect the progress made on the project.
“Although I get reports monthly about the project and the progress made but I feel since I’m here in Kaduna let me come and see for myself and I ‘m satisfied with the progress made” he said.
