Eguavoen raises alarm on Super Eagles

Eguaoven who is presently in charge of Nigeria premier league side, Gombe United said in an interview with Daily Trust that the crisis which has persistent over the NFF elections, if not resolved may affect the Eagles negatively.
According to him, the crisis contributed to the poor showing of the Eagles in the two qualifying matches they have already played.
“We did not start well but I still see the team qualifying for the tournament. All we need do now is not to drop any point in the remaining qualifying games and see if we can win one on the road.
“When parents are not settled at home, we all know what will happen to the children. Our matches in Calabar against Congo and the one in South Africa are good examples of how crisis can turn things negatively.
“If we want to play in the next Nations Cup as defending champions, this crisis must be resolved in time. And we cannot afford to drop any point in all the remaining matches,” he said.
