Edo Sate Governor Godwin Obaseki says his administration is training 4,000 youths to boost security in the state.
Speaking in Benin yesterday at the Church of God Mission during a thanksgiving service to mark his second year in office, Obaseki said new security architecture in the state would soon be unveiled.
He said rather than give money to people anyhow, his administration will invest in infrastructure.
The governor said he preferred helping people grow their businesses or ideas to dashing money out.
“One key element is that whatever we do must affect the people. We are stressing our limited resources to work for the people. We will spend money to work for the people,” he said.
