E-Registration: NAHCON set March 31st deadline

In view of the biometric registration introduced for all intending pilgrims by the Saudi Arabian authorities, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has urged state pilgrims board  to pay their hajj fare by March 31, or miss the 2018 pilgrimage.

Speaking at a hajj stakeholders enlightenment programme in Kaduna over the weekend, Chairman of the commission, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad said the deadline was informed by the fact that Nigeria presently has only three registration centers in Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna to register intending pilgrims.

Represented by the Commissioner In-charge of Operations, NAHCON, Alhaji Abdullahi Saleh, Muhammad said, "Every intending pilgrim in the country is expected to pay the hajj fare by March 31, 2018 in order to ensure a hitch free exercise.
