Leading satellite TV provider, DSTV, at the weekend treated its customers and associates to a night of grandeur when it hosted them to the exclusive private screening of the action movie ‘Aquaman’ at the IMAX Filmhouse Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos.
The movie, Aquaman, which is a big superhero film based on DC comics’ character revolves around Jason Momoa, the king of the sea who played the role of Arthur Curry (Aquaman), the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, who finds himself caught between a surface world that ravages the sea and the underwater Atlanteans.
His on-screen wife, Queen Mera (played by Amber Heard) is a pretty woman and a fierce fighter who is also a water breather just like her husband, Arthur and together fought many hard water battles.
The movie, which was screened courtesy of DSTV Premium, was part of the brand’s promise of putting the customer at the heart of its business.
Celebrities who graced the screening include Africa Magic talent, Linda Ejiofor; popular television presenter, Bolanle Olukanni; and former big brother Naija Double Wahala housemates – Ifu Ennada, Omololu, Tobi Bakre, Anto Lecky, Alex Asogwa – among others.
