Speaking at a youth education seminar organised by Galaxy Uniprep Centre in collaboration with Nigerian Turkish Nile University, Dr Hauwa Imam urged youths to shun violence, saying it is destructive for especially the young ones.
She advised audience at the occasion, to avail the knowledge they have gained at the programme to students in their neighborhood.
Dr Mesut Yilmaz of the Nigerian Turkish Nile University said the number of Nigerian students going abroad for university education was alarming, calling for home-grown solutions to the country’s problems.
FCT’s Secretary of Education, Kabiru Usman, however, said that Nigerians used to go to abroad for university education because the home universities cannot admit the increased number of students seeking for admission.
