The Election Petitions Tribunal in Bauchi State has received petitions challenging the electoral victory of the Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, the speaker of Bauchi State House of Assembly, Kawuwa Shehu Damina and a host of others.
The secretary of the tribunal, Bello Abdullahi, said 27 petitions had been received as of Monday.
Abdullahi said the petitioners were challenging the winners of the Senate, House of Representatives and state House of Assembly elections.

He, however, said the tribunal was yet to receive any petition regarding the governorship election in the state won by Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed of the PDP.
Dalhatu Abubakar Abdullahi of the APC submitted a petition challenging the re-election of the Speaker Dogara of the PDP for Dass/Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro federal constituency seat.
Gara’u Adamu of PDP is challenging the incumbent Speaker, Bauchi State House of Assembly on his re-election to represent Darazo Central constituency in the House of Assembly.
Other petitions received by the tribunal include those of Farouk Mustapha of NNPP challenging the election of Adamu Mohammed Bulkachuwa of APC for the Bauchi North senatorial seat, and Ahmed Yerima of PDP challenging the election of Ibrahim Makama Misau of APC for Misau/Dambam federal constituency.
Bappa Aliyu Misau of PRP has also submitted a petition challenging the election of Halliru Dauda Jika of APC as senator-elect representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District.
