Brisin is an integrated system for the collection, storage, and distribution of information to support the management of the economy.

It is aimed at bringing developmental and economic growth in the country through the use of data collection of people and other relevant information and the data collected will be used to plan for the management of the nation’s resources.

According to Okorocha, the basic registry information empowers you to proactively answer those frequently asked questions by making the data unreservedly available. Information can be made accessible as fast as it is collected, which implies that the general population can become involved and offer significant criticism all through the whole process. Access to valuable information helps in binding together a society and engaging them to help shape the course of the future.

He added that, BRISIN will “also create databases that stores and preserves information over time. The accessibility of consolidated data in a single and accessible location is favorable for the utilisation of both current data and for chronicled information that has been accumulated over time.

This strategy for information stockpiling guarantees that all data will show up where and how it should, and that it will stay in that area for future reference. This additionally takes into consideration the possibility to watch patterns and changes in the information over time” he said.
