Gombe State Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has donated land for the construction of an Islamic Centre.
Speaking at the Maulud of ‘Nabiy’ and foundation laying ceremony of the centre organized by the Qadiriyya Movement Africa at the weekend in Gombe, Dankwambo pledged that the centre would be completed before the expiration of his tenure in 2019.

In a remark, the Deputy Governor of Kano state, Professor Hafiz Abubakar, appealed for timely completion of the project as it would provide opportunity for people to acquire quality Islamic education.
The Leader of the Qadiriyya Movement in Africa, Sheikh Qaribullah Sheikh Nasiru Kabara, said the project would have positive impact on the people.
