Corps member organises counseling seminar for students

Speaking during the seminar held at the Murtala Muhammad Library, Kano, Mr. Adedoyin said the idea for the seminar originated from his desire to groom the younger ones in the right direction in their educational pursuit.
He added that his intention was to “reach out to our young giants and see how they can be guided in their careers.”
He pointed that “the origin of my CD programme came out of my thinking of ways to invest in people,” adding that that motivated him to start teaching voluntarily at the Government Secondary School, Tarauni.
Alhaji Abdurrashid Sanusi, representative of Mr. Peter Emma, the NYSC state co-ordinator, observed that the corps member demonstrated high sense of innovation by initiating something useful to students. He said the initiative would solve part of the problem of lack of guidance by parents in the education of their children.
Malam Zakariya Balarabe, representing the Director General of Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board, Alhaji Hassan El-Yakub, at the occasion, said the seminar was a welcome development, adding that the board assisted Mr. Adeleke towards ensuring the success of the seminar.
