The presiding Bishop of House of Joy, Dr Sam Zuga, who has formally joined the Benue State gubernatorial race as candidate on the platform of Nigeria Peoples Congress (NPC), said yesterday that he will not collect salary if elected governor in the 2019 elections.
Zuga, in an interview with newsmen at his church’s headquarter, popularly known as Sam Zuga City in Gboko area of the state, said he was called by the leadership of his party and adopted at its primary election as their candidate to offer service to people of the state.
He commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his intervention in the insecurity in the state, emphasising that he had already devised the means to tackle the challenge if elected in next year’s general election.
