China’s Dalian Yifang make £44m offer for Zaha

Wilfried Zaha has reportedly been the subject of a massive offer from Chinese Super League club Dalian Yifang, in a bid to lure him from Crystal Palace.

With the transfer window set to open, speculation is rife as to the 26-year-old’s whereabouts come January.

According to reports yesterday, the Ivorian international has been offered a deal worth a minimum of £44 million over four years, which would triple his £130,000 per week salary at the South London club.

The Daily Mail reports that Chinese Super League side Dalian Yifang are set to offer Zaha a four-year deal worth £44m.

The bold bid would see Zaha’s weekly salary tripled and include first-class travel back to the UK.

However, Zaha, who has scored three league goals so far this season, remains an important player at Selhurst Park, and signed a new five year contract in August.

He said at the time: “Palace is in my heart and I don’t think the story is over.”
