Ushafa said his administration will complete all ongoing developmental projects in the council, saying the purpose of government is to bring positive impact to the citizens.
‘’Whatever we do, we are going to account for it before our Creator and there is nothing that can make anybody happy in life than making his fellow human being happy,’’ he said.
The chairman acknowledged that the monthly allocation to the council is not enough to cater for all the needs of its dwellers, saying the bulk of the amount is used to pay workers’ salaries.
Ushafa appealed to the federal government to pay special attention to the area councils in the territory, saying the councils’ workers are paid with the same salary scale as that of the federal government.
The chairman, however, assured that the plight of his people would not in any way be compromised because of limited resources available to the council.
He urged the residents to continue to live harmoniously and support his efforts, aimed at transforming the council.
