Members of Kogi State council of traditional rulers, Wednesday, met President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja and presented the governor, Yahaya Bello for second term.
The monarchs, led by Attah Igala and President, Kogi State Council of Chiefs, His Royal Majesty, Dr Idakwo Michael Ameh Oboni Il, also demanded for the position of finance minister in the next cabinet.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, said they met President Buhari over three issues.

He said they also represent the Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello to the president for the November governorship election in Kogi state.
The monarch said, “This is not an endorsement, it’s reintroduction. We represented him to the president. He has already been endorsed in the state.”
The traditional rulers, while demanding for the position of the finance minister in the next cabinet of the president, said they were not comfortable with the position of minister of state given to the state in the last federal cabinet.
