The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has scheduled the governorship supplementary election in Adamawa State for Thursday 28th March.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Kassim Gaidam, who addressed journalists today, said the commission had arrived at the decision after consultation with security agencies.
He disclosed that only voters carrying permanent voter cards of the affected polling units will have access to voting centres to avert possible break down of order.
This is coming few hours after a Yola High Court vacated its order restraining INEC from conducting the supplementary election.
