A senatorial aspirant from Borno South on the platform of PDP, Kudla Satumari, has said that he joined race so that the voice of his people could be heard loud at the national level.
Satumari who said Borno State had suffered a lot in the last nine years as a result of Boko Haram crisis, added that the southern part of the state which he wanted to represented, had its share of the difficulties.
He added that those who represented the area in the past and those currently occupying the Senate seat had all done their bests, saying it was time to have a change. He lamented that many of his people were living in IDP camps, saying it was time to take them home.
When reminded that Gwoza axis had always produced the senator from Southern Borno, Satumari said, “It is an unconventional coincidence that kept on happening.”
