The BringBackOurGirls movement has called on the Federal Government to break the silence on the lecturers of University of Maiduguri and the Lassa women released by the Boko Haram.
The group said three days after the release, no member of their families have been reached by government to be formally briefed.

A statement by spokesperson of the group, Sesugh Akume said communities and interested groups are unaware of the10 among 16 abducted persons were released and fate of the remaining 6 still in captivity.
“The characteristic failure of governance in Nigeria has again shown its ugliness as 72 full hours after the news broke that 10 Lassa women and 3 University of Maiduguri lecturers were returned from captivity, the government of Nigeria has kept mute, keeping the disconsolate families, communities, interested groups, citizens and the public at large in the dark, only imagining” said the group.
