Police in Bauchi have arrested seven persons over the alleged murder of an 18 year- old boy, Dindara Yusuf.
This was disclosed in a statement by the State Command’s Spokesperson, DSP Kamal Datti Abubakar.
According to him, the suspects were arrested over the alleged incident of culpable homicide which occurred on Saturday September 9th, 2018, when the deceased was stabbed with knife on the chest at a location opposite E-4 Resort Event Center which led to his death.

Kamal said that crisis was nearly sparked by some youths during the deceased burial in Yelwa area of the metropolis.
He noted that the Bauchi State Police Command wishes to assure the general public that the situation is brought under control and is being monitored.
“Seven (7) suspects were so far arrested in connection with the murder and are at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department undergoing investigation after which the findings will be made available to the public.
“The Command is once again warning the members of the public against taking law in to their hand as it is doing its best to ensure that justice is done in the aforementioned case,” he said.
