A former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Attahiru Dalhatu Bafarawa, has commiserate with Bayelsa State Governor, Chief Serieke Henry Dickson, over the demise of his mother, Madam Gold Coast Dickson.
The 72-year-old died of breast cancer at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, United States.
Bafarawa, who sent his condolences in a statement Friday, described Madam Dickson demise as a great loss not only to her family but to the entire people of the Bayelsa State and the nation in general.
Bafarawa, who is also a presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) said it is emotionally and devastating to lose someone very dear like a mother who has suffered day and night to shower loves and kindness.
