A former vice president and presidential aspirant under Peoples Democratic Party, Abubakar Atiku, yesterday said he would take Nigeria to greater heights, if elected in 2019.
“I had been a very president before, I believe if given the opportunity, I will take Nigeria to greater heights that it has never witnessed before, “he said.
Answering questions from journalists in Sokoto, Atiku said: “I believe I have the capacity and experience to tackle the problems in Nigeria. The most important thing is to have the right leadership that has the knowhow to confront the challenges in the country.”
He said irrespective of who clinched the PDP ticket, all the presidential aspirants under his party platform would work to ensure the party’s victory in the 2019 elections.
