The military was said to have sealed the office of an international humanitarian organisation, Action Against Hunger, working in the North East, located in Damaturu, Yobe State.
The soldiers were said to have ordered all the NGO’s workers out of the office without giving any reason.
The organisation’s office in Maiduguri, Borno State, was said to have been shut down earlier by soldiers, according to its country Director, Shashwan Saraf.
Saraf was reported to have said the army had not disclosed the reason for sealing the organisation’s offices.
