‘APGA yet to field gov’ship candidate in Imo’

A governorship aspirant on the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Imo State, Uche Onyeagucha, has said that the party is yet to produce a candidate for the 2019 governorship election in the state.

He said the there was no primary election to choose a candidate and denied reports that Senator Ifeanyi Araraume had been elected as the party’s flag-bearer.

Onyeagucha, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Macdonald Enwere, also denied reports that he had dumped APGA for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Enwere described as rumour and false information being peddled in the state claiming that there was a primary election which led to the emergence of Araraume as the APGA governorship candidate in the state.
