If elected, All Progressives Congress, APC in Sokoto will stop the ongoing monthly deductions from workers’ salaries under education levy in the state.
Chairman of the Northern Senators Forum, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko disclosed this during the flag off of APC campaign in Gada Local Government Area.
He added that the workers would be reimbursed with all the deductions so far made, to alleviate their sufferings.
Senator Wamakko, who represents Sokoto North Senatorial District, urged workers in the state to execise patience as “the days of the incumbent People’s Democratic Party (PDP)- led state government are almost over.”
He expressed optimism that APC candidates, at all levels in the nation would emerge victorious at the polls.
The Governorship Candidate of the APC, Alhaji Ahmed Aliyu said if elected, his government would revitalize agriculture, health, education and other critical sectors.
On his part, the state Chairman of the party Alhaji Isa Sadiq Achida, said APC government would ensure provision of needed developmental projects in the state.
