Anxiety cost us against Akwa United —Yusuf

Yusuf said shortly after the match that the outcome of the game would have been different if his players had converted the chances that came their way.
The coach said that he will work on the team’s weaknesses as the league progresses in order to raise a strong team for the challenges ahead.
“We did not win today because our players were too anxious in front of goals, if we had converted our chances the outcome would have been different. Our fans should just be patience with us.
The team will blend well as the league progress. Our fans should not judge us with this result,” Yusuf said.
The former Enyimba of Aba sweat merchant said with the standard of officiating in the league, he is optimistic that his side can pull an away win or draw during the current league season.
