Antonio Conte”s replacement Sarri gives condition for Chelsea job

Maurizio Sarri has told Roman Abramovich that he believes Eden Hazard and Willian are ‘untouchable’ at Chelsea and that they must remain at the club, according to reports in Spain.

The Italian is still expected to take over from Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge, despite Conte starting pre-season training at the club as the side prepare for the upcoming Premier League season, but has reportedly told Abramovich he will take over at the club so long as Hazard and Willian aren’t sold.

Stories of Hazard moving to Real Madrid have refused to go away over the summer, while Willian has been linked with a move to Manchester United and a reunion with Jose Mourinho, but according to Mundo Deportivo, one of the conditions of Sarri taking over is that the pair remain at Stamford Bridge.

It’s also claimed that N’Golo Kante, one of the most impressive players in the top flight since his breakthrough with Leicester City, is not on the list of the players that Sarri wants Chelsea to keep at all costs.

Conte was in charge as Chelsea started pre-season training this week, despite an entire summer fuelled by speculation of his departure from London.

The Blues start their pre-season campaign with a trip to Australia to take on Perth Glory on July 23 before returning to Europe to take on Inter Milan in Nice on July 28.
