Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun is currently meeting with President Buhari at the State House Villa, Abuja, Daily Trust online reports.
Amosun arrived the State House around 2.50pm and walked straight to the President’s office for a closed door meeting.
Daily Trust reports that the Governor is one of the APC stakeholders who are calling for the sack of the party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole over the just concluded primaries.
Oshiomhole was grilled early this week by the Department of State Security Service (DSS) over allegations of bribery.
The party National Working Committee (NWC) led by Oshiomhole had submitted the name of Chief Dapo Abiodun as governorship candidate of the party for Ogun against Amosun’s preferred candidate Rep, Abdulkabir Adekunle Akinlade.
