Aga called for support for the PDP campaign train, and sought votes for the president and all other candidates seeking to enter various elective offices including the governorship, for which Yusuf Agabi of the PDP is challenging Al-Makura.
President Goodluck Jonathan, who hailed Aga’s speech, later in his address to the same crowd, announced a scholarship package to the children’s parliamentary leader, by a business mogul and member of the PDP, Kola Adesina.
“Let me thank Richard Aga, the president of the children parliament, who spoke. I was quite impressed when Richard Aga spoke…..I was told he is an undergraduate student in Nasarawa State University, reading Theatre Arts and Cultural Development.
“One of our PDP leaders; a businessman, who is here with us, who is quite impressed with what he has done, my good friend, Kola Adesina who listened to our good friend, has decided to give him a comprehensive scholarship.
