Adamawa ADC guber candidate urges supporters to shun violence

The Adamwa state gubernatorial candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Senator Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako has expressed gratitude to the people of Adamawa during the ward to ward campaign tour across the 21 local governments in the state.

In a statement issued by his media aide Christopher Alu Thursday, Nyako said he was overwhelmed by the warm reception accorded him by the people in all the local governments, districts and wards he visited with his entourage during the campaigns.

He said his ambition to govern the state was a collective the project to make Adamawa State a better place, urging his supporters to shun violence before, during and after the Saturday presidential and National Assembly elections.

Nyako admonished the people to be law abiding in Saturdays elections while voting for all ADC candidates contesting for House of Representatives and Senate across the state.

He said the unwavering support given to him was a sign of victory for ADC and to the people of Adamawa, adding that they should ensure victory for the party in all the elections.
“Victory for ADC is a victory for the people and indeed the state,” he said.
