The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina has said it is awaiting the report of its disciplinary committee on alleged anti-party activities of some of its Abuja-based members before making any names public.

Governor Aminu Bello Masari had at the weekend alleged that some forces of the APC in Abuja were undermining his administration.

The state chairman of the party, Shitu Shitu, said APC is a party that believes in the rule of law and would follow due process in all its activities.

He said no one is above the party but laid down rules must be obeyed and followed in carrying out its actions, adding that “anyone found wanting will surely be sanctioned accordingly.”

He said people like Hadiza Bala Usman, Ahmed Dangiwa, Sabi’u Tunde, Mamman Daura, Sani Zangon Daura and Musa Haro cannot be seen to be involved in such anti-party acts because some of them have contributed more than enough to the progress of the party at both national and state levels, adding that “some among these mentioned are elder statesmen are we’ll respected.”
