Over 500,000 students across the 36 states and the FCT are to be taught the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through the formal activation of the World’s Largest Lesson the federal government.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on SDGs, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, disclosed this in Abuja at the National SDGs Activation Summit in Abuja.
Adefulire, represented by Danjuma Dauda, said this was to drive SDGs to all parts of Nigeria and assist young minds to identify problems and proffer local solutions.
Kyle Whitehill, chief executive officer of Avanti Communications, expressed his company’s delight in identifying with the initiative.
