33 Artillery Brigade hosts Inter Brigade competition

The 33 Artillery Brigade in Bauchi will host the 3 Division Nigerian Army Inter Brigade competition.

A statement by the Brigade’s Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Major Yahaya Nasir Kabara disclosed that the competition, meant for Corporal ranks and below, is scheduled to take place between Sunday 21st April to April 26th, 2019.

According to the statement, the competition, which is being held annually, is aimed at improving the leadership skills, physical fitness and shooting skills among Soldiers in the ranks bracket.

“The soldiers from 3 Division Garrison Jos, 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi, 43 Engineers Brigade Jos and 53 Signals Brigade Jos are expected to compete in various fields including Map Reading, Combat Swimming, Skill and Arms and Drills.

“Consequently, the general public of Bauchi are enjoined not to panic on seeing large body of troops and equipment within the general area. They are therefore, urged to steer clear from the 33 Artillery Brigade shooting range, Shadawanka general area throughout the period of the competition, “the statement advised.
