30,000 Zamfara traders to benefit from loan facilities – Osinbajo

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has said that 30,000 traders in Zamfara State are to benefit from loan facilities to improve their businesses and make them economically viable.


Osinbajo disclosed this while speaking during the formal commissioning of Government Girls College, Talata Mafara among other projects executed by Governor Abdulaziz Yari.

He said the only way to get people out of poverty was to give them loan to start or improve their businesses, adding that improving the economy wass one of the cardinal objectives of the Buhari administration.


In his address, governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar said N937 million was spent on the reconstruction of the Girls’ college, this is in addition to N3 billion spent on the upgrade and building of new structures of health facilities across the state.
