The Gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) in 2019 election in Kano State, Malam Salihu Sagir Takai has launched an online campaign website and social media team.

Launching the website and social media team on Monday at the Kano Press Centre, Takai said his gubernatorial candidature was for the people and whoever dare to challenge him would face serious resistance from the electorates.

Takai therefore, charged the inaugurated social media team to either say good about his political opponents or keep quite.

“We must lead by example. You should ensure that whatever you are posting on our site is genuine and nothing but the truth. We should not dent anybody’s image in the name of politics,” he warned.

Earlier, the state Chairman of the PRP, Alhaji Sammani Bashir said social media was a powerful platform for campaign.

Bashir charged members of the social media team to understand the party’s constitution and manifesto to enable them equip themselves so that they could post only correct information about the party and its candidate.
