The All Progressives Congress (APC) has inaugurated the President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Ambassadors’ executives in Abuja as a grassroots mobilisation group for the re-election of the president.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the chairman of Suleja Local Government, Abdullahi Shuaibu Maje, said the inauguration of the PMB Ambassadors’ executive members, made up of zonal and state coordinators, was to work for the success of the reelection of President Buhari.
He said the group was formed by supporters of the president because of his sterling performance within the last three and half years in office.
He said Buhari had impacted on the lives of the youth through N-Power and other social intervention programmes, adding that the group’s target was to ensure it mobilised two million votes for the reelection of Buhari come February 16 election.
Also speaking, the convener of PMB Ambassadors, Comrade Umar Abdullahi, said the group comprised of passionate, patriotic, young Nigerians that have passion for the development of the country.
“As patriotic Nigerians, we have come together as volunteers to promote good governance, foster unity among the youth to mobilise votes for Buhari/Osinbajo reelection in 2019,” he said.
In his remark, the chairman of AMAC, Abdullahi Adamu Candido, represented by the speaker of the council, Daniel S. Michael, commended the group for volunteering to mobilise for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
