The convener of Yes Nigeria movement, Mr Ali Soyede today declared his intention to contest in the 2019 elections for the position of the president.
Ali Soyede who made the declaration Monday in Abuja said that "it’s an honour for me to be here and want to contest for the highest position in the country".
He said his aspiration is a result of the call to answer the yearnings of the people.
He added that his parents are from the Northern and southern part of Nigeria as such he is a “bridge between the north and south”.
Ali who had his education in Katsina state says that the Nigerian constitution has protection of lives, security, provision of medical facilities, declaration of assets before taking a public office and many more enshrined in it, as such his manifesto is derived from the constitution.
He enjoined Nigerians to get their PVC.
"The power is with those who have PVC."
"Your PVC is your tool, your weapon to build a great country" he said.
He summarised his manifesto as the ‘YEEEEEEES message’ which has to do with Youth of Nigeria, education, economy, employment, energy, elders, experts and Security.
He says he will like to see the strengthening of the Nigerian security personnel most especially the Police.
Ali Soyede is the founder of Ben TV London which also broadcasts to Nigeria.
The event also featured an eight minutes video interview session.
Ali Soyede ended his declaration by summarising his message in Hausa language and also in Yoruba language.
