11 worshipers killed, 17 injured in Borno’s Mosque attack

Not Fewer than 11 worshipers were killed and dozens injured when a bomber blew up self during congregational prayer in Nglala local government area of Borno state on Wednesday morning, vigilante source said.


The incidents occurred while Moslems faithful were observing their morning prayer at about 5:00am on Wednesday in Ngonboru town.

A suspected bomber detonated his IEDs inside the mosque killing 11 persons while 17 others were wounded. 


"As I am speaking with you, 11 people dead and 17 seriously injured, the mosque was destroyed and blood all over the place."

"It was unfortunate, that this ugly incident could happen when people have started returning and building their destroyed homes,” a vigilante source told our reporter on the phone.
