He told “It’s my first hat-trick for the club on my first appearance at Carrow Road. I’m delighted about that.

“I was playing locally back in Ireland and one of the scouts came to watch me. I think I scored a hat-trick in that game, came over here on trial and scored a hat-trick against Peterborough.

“I scored a hat-trick recently against Azerbaijan too so hopefully I can keep going! Once I score one, I get more confident.”

The 16-year-old Adam Idah joined Norwich City from Irish club Corinthians in the summer of 2017.
