The All Progressive Congress(APC) governorship candidate in Jigawa,Alhaji Muhammadu Abubakar Badaru, has said in Dutse, the Jigawa state capital, that he will not relocate government ministries and parastatals outside the state capital if he becomes the governor of Jigawa state.
Badaru, who spoke to journalists in Dutse over the rumour, said it is an attempt to blackmail him by the PDP led administration in the state.
" I want to assure the good people of Jigawa state in general and Dutse emirate in particular that I and the party have no such plans. Jigawa belong to all of us and we are united in the resolve to advance the course of the state. The PDP has been using that rumour to smear our party just to win cheap popularity. Thank God our people are well informed to fall for that cheap blackmail. Dutse is our capital and our government will develop it better"
