He said the Secretary General of NBSF, Kehinde Olaniyan confirmed the trip in the Rosebud college training camp of the national team.
Agu said that the choice of United States was due to the professional level of the game in US adding that “since we need the best, we have to go for the best.”
“He said that the US training tour which is expected to come up in early July in Washington DC will also attract other nations that are rearing to make impact in the championship proper.
“He described the training tour as the second phase of the camping which will sharpen the skills of the lads from Nigeria to effectively confront any team from any part of the world”, Agu quoted the Secretary General as saying.
He said the country was doing its best in making sure that Nigeria is well represented in the global stage, adding that the boys have impressed the technical official so much that they are now being tipped as one of the favourites of the championship.
