N1.3 billion is budgeted for recurrent expenditure and N23 billion for capital expenditure totaling N24.8 billion for the entire ministry.
The ministry will also spend N14.3 million for electricity charges and N1 million for leased communication line (s). Office stationery and computer consumables will get N77 million, while newspapers and magazines attract N5.6 million.
Also, N113, 875 was budgeted for Food Stuff and Catering Materials Supplies while in another entry, N8.7 million was proposed for refreshment & meals. N3.5 million will go into honorarium and sitting allowances.
Motor vehicle fuel cost gets N7.7 million allocation. N3.6 million is proposed for other transport equipment fuel cost, while N10 million would be expended on maintenance of motor vehicles and other transport equipment.
The ministry will spend N36 million on welfare packages while teaching aid and instruction material would gulp N1.1 million. N1.1 million is proposed for the maintenance of plants and generators.
