Dickson hails Akpabio on PDP governors’ forum

Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson has attributed the emergence of Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) Governors Forum to his unique and purposeful leadership style.

Making this known in a statement made available to newsmen by the governor’s chief press secretary, Daniel Iworiso-Markson the Governor lauded the unanimous decision of the PDP Governors, adding that the election of Governor Akpabio would go a long way in repositioning the Party and as well make the forum more viable.

Describing his emergence as well deserved, the Governor said, ‘your emergence as Chairman of this all-important Forum at this period of our Party’s history is a clear manifestation of your unique leadership qualities, visionary and purposeful disposition as well as your immeasurable contributions to the growth of our great Party.

“It is our sincere hope that you will bring these positive and result oriented qualities, which have endeared you to the generality of our party faithful over time, to bear in the new PDP Governors’ Forum.

“It is our fervent prayer that the good Lord will continue to shower you with His wisdom and Grace to steer the ship of the PDP Governors’ forum effectively”
