The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said yesterday that the organisation cannot achieve its role of coordination, mitigation and management of disaster in the country without the support of the media. North-west zonal coordinator of NEMA, Musa Ilellah, stated this in Kaduna at a one-day workshop on the role of the media in disaster management.  “The objective of this forum is to remind you all of your responsibilities at all levels of government and at the community level to continue to be patriotic and play a constructive role by being partners in saving lives, property and the environment”, he said.
