Zamfara dep gov’s father dies at 95

Alhaji Muhammadu Liman, father of Zamfara State deputy governor, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala Liman, died on Tuesday at the age of 95. Liman, a renowned Islamic scholar in Gusau, died at Daul-Hikmah hospital in Egypt, where he was receiving medical treatment. A statement signed by the Secretary to Zamfara State Government, Alhaji Hassan Atto, stated that Liman left behind two wives, 12 children and 80 grand children.
