Explosion near Kaduna market causes scare

An explosion from a refuse dump behind a market in Kachia LGA of Kaduna state caused a scare among residents of the town.
Sources told Daily Trust that the loud explosion was heard from a refuse dump which had een set on fire earlier.
Reacting, Chairman of Kachia, Hon. Peter Agite told Daily Trust that no one was hurt but that the police were still trying to decipher the cause of the explosion.
Police PRO Aminu Lawan told Daily Trust that a detachment from the bomb squad were already to on ground, trying to identify the obeject that caused the explosion.
Residents however told Daily Trust that the area was an unlikelyy target as it was not surrounded by residential buidings.
