The U-23 National Team, nicknamed Dream Team, will now take on their Zambian counterparts in an 11th All-Africa Games final round qualifying match at the National Heroes Stadium, Lusaka. The match was earlier scheduled for the Levy Nwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
A letter addressed to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) General Secretary and signed by Julio Chiluba, Head of Administration/Competitions of the Football Association of Zambia, also informed the NFF that the match will now come up on Sunday, 12th April and commence at 3pm Zambia time.
Both teams played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg that took place at the National Stadium, Abuja on Sunday, March 22.
The winner of the fixture will qualify for the Men’s Football Tournament of the 11th All-Africa Games, coming up in Congo-Brazzaville, September 3-18 this year.
